The Nordic AI Factory Summit 2026 (NAFS-26) is the leading Nordic event focused on AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, sovereign AI, and applied artificial intelligence. The summit brings together researchers, engineers, startups, SMEs, public sector organisations, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore how advanced AI and HPC technologies can accelerate innovation and strengthen Europe’s digital competitiveness.
Under the theme “Sovereign AI, Shared Ambition: Accelerating Nordic-European Innovation”, NAFS-26 highlights the growing importance of secure, sustainable, and accessible AI infrastructure across the Nordic and European ecosystem. The programme covers topics such as generative AI, AI infrastructure at scale, EuroHPC and AI Factories, AI-accelerated simulation, trustworthy AI, and energy-efficient computing.
The summit is closely connected to Mimer AI Factory, Sweden’s AI Factory operated by RISE and NAISS, and part of the EuroHPC AI Factory initiative. NAFS-26 creates a meeting place where academia, industry, and the public sector can exchange knowledge, showcase real-world AI applications, and build collaborations that strengthen Nordic and European AI capabilities.
Registration Fee:
Free to attend with approved registration (limited capacity)
Who Should Attend:
The Nordic AI Factory Summit is designed for technical practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and decision-makers working directly with AI, HPC, data infrastructure, simulation, software engineering, digital transformation, and related scientific and technical fields.
We welcome participants from academia, industry, startups, SMEs, and the public sector who are actively building, deploying, governing, or supporting AI and advanced computing technologies. The summit is intended for people who want to learn, exchange experiences, discuss challenges, and contribute to the future of European AI infrastructure and innovation.
To maintain a practitioner-focused environment and encourage meaningful peer-to-peer discussions, registrations are prioritised for attendees with technical, operational, research, policy, or implementation-focused roles.
